Pokalde Peak Climbing-Pokalde Peak is a rocky peak in front of Nuptse and is located south of the Kongma in Chukung valley.It is close to Mount Everest and is one of the shortest and easiest trekking peaks in the Nepal. The northern side of the mountain has a small hanging glacier that is best reached along the ridge rising from the Kongma La.The first ascent of Pokalde Peak was made in April 1953 and has been conquered many times since. This peak is an ideal introduction to peak climbing, offering wonderful views for a memorable mountain experience.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Valley Sight Seeing.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight (2817m) to Phakding (2720m). 4 hours.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazar (3446m). 6 hours.
Day 05: Namche to Dole (4040m). 6 hours
Day 06: Dole to Macherma (4465m). 4 hours
Day 07: Macherma to Gokyo (4750m). 4 hours.
Day 08: Gokyo to Gokyo Peak (5360m) to Macherma. 8 hours.
Day 09: Macherma to Phorche Thanga (3840m). 6 hours.
Day 10: Phorche Thanga to Pheriche (4252m). 7 hours.
Day 11: Pheriche to Lobuche (4930m). 7 hours.
Day 12: Kongma La high camp.
Day 13: Summit and camp after Kongma La trek to Chhukung 4730m.
Day 14: Chhukung to Pangboche (3901m). 6 hours.
Day 15: Pangboche to Tengboche (3867m). 6 hours.
Day 16: Tengboche to Namche Bazar. 6 hours.
Day 17: Namche to Phakding. 6 hours.
Day 18: Phakding to Lukla. 4 hours.
Day 19: Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 20: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 21: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 22: Transfer to Airport.
