Pisang Peak Climbing

Pisang Peak is situated in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is very popular Peak. It is on the way to Thorong Pass 5416m a challenging pass. It offers good scope for exploration. The peak was first explored by German Team in 1955.

Pisang Peak (6091m) is taken as easy trekking among other trekking peaks but it is also found very difficult by some climbers and complained us that this is not also easy one. So naturally you should have a good walking and climbing habit as well as your courage. Pisang peak ascends from the yak kharka upto its summit. Ascending and descending route is same one. Some time we find snow on this peak at the top only.It is also rocky and steepy technical peak. This trip offers you the views of the Annapurna group including Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II and IV, Ghangapurna and the Glacier.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival and reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Night in hotel.
Day 02: Sight Seeing Kathmandu Durbar square, Swayambhunath and Patan . Night in hotel.
Day 03: Departure from Kathmandu in the morning to Bulbule. Night in lodge.
Day 04: Bulbule to Chame 2650m 6hr by jeep.
Day 05: Chame to Pisang 3185m 5 hr.
Day 06: Pisang to Kharka and setting of base camp.
Day 07: Acclimatization at Base Camp.
Day 08: Climbing to high camp.
Day 09: Summit and back to base camp.
Day 10: Trek to Gharu village (6 hr).
Day 11: Gharu village to Manang.
Day 12: Manang to Thorong Phedi-4500m (4-5 hr).
Day 13: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath-3798m crossing over the Thorong-La Pass-3416m. The day waking up early in the morning around 3-4 o'clock according to guide instruction. This is because of the wind over the pass.
Day 14: Muktinath to Jomsom.
Day 15: Jomsom to Pokhara.
Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 17: Free Day in Kathmandu.
Day 18: Transfer to Airport in advance of 2 ½ hours of your flight.
