Makalu Base Camp Isuwa La Mera Trekking

Makalu Base Camp Isuwa La Mera Trekking is a beautiful hike through an unspoilt region. It is close to the Everest region. The Barun Valley is part of a huge international protected area under an agreement between the governments of Nepal and China, which consists of 2330 square kilometers of National Park and 830 square kilometers in Nepal.

Maluku Base Camp Trekking and Isuwa La Mera through Makalu Barun National Park, takes you from the lowlands of Tumlingtar 460m, one of the least frequented areas of Nepal, snowcapped 5000m Makalu Base Camp which is the less visited by tourists as the far west of Nepal.

The views of the south face of Makalu, Everest and Lhotse and are a real treat.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 03. Flight from Tumlingtar and trek to Num 1500m.
Day 04. Num to Sedua.
Day 05. Sedua to Tashigaon 2200m.
Day 06. Tashigaon to Kauma 2500m.
Day 07. Kauma to Mumbuk 3550m.
Day 08. Mumbuk to Yangle Kharka 3700m.
Day 09. Yangle Kharka to Merek 4100m.
Day 10. Merek to Makalu Base camp 4800m.
Day 11. Makalu Base camp resting day.
Day 12. Makalu Base Camp to Isawa High Camp 4700m.
Day 13. Isawa High Camp to Pokhari.
Day 14. Pokhari to Khola 4610m.
Day 15. Khola to Chhomolongma Glacier 4800m.
Day 16. Chhomolongma Glacier to Jungle Camp.
Day 17. Jungle Camp to khongma Dingma 4948m.
Day 18. Khongma Dingma to Mera High Camp 5800m.
Day 19. Mera Mera High Camp Summit peak to Khare.
Day 20. Khare to Kothe .
Day 21. Kothe to Tulikharka.
Day 22. Tulikharka to Lukla (via the Chhetra 5100m).
Day 23. Rest Day in Lukla.
Day 24. Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 25. Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 26. Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 27. Transfer to the airport.
