Pikey Peak Trek

Pikey Peak is in the region of Solukhumbu Everest. Same route to Everest Jiri Gokyo Kalapathar or flight Phaplu to Kathmandu trekking and continues to Pikey Peak. It is the maximum altitude at 4400m Dudh Kund. There are many buddhist Gompas.

More than 300 monks are in Chiwang gompa. Thupten Chholing Gumba is the oldest monastery in this region. There are about 300 monks. Jhapre Gompa is located in the area.

The sacred lake is not so bigger but it is perfect landscape that touches the heart. This hike covers the chain of mountains of Khumbu region.We recommend this tour for meditators and participants over 50-55 years.

There are more than five different types of species of rhododendron. We can see from Pike Peak the view of Khumbu / Everest Everest, Makalu, Chhoyu, Lotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaroo, ect,. This area is very charming area. Very few tourist do this trek.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01. Arrival at Kathmandu, reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02. Visit Kathmandu Vallley.
Day 03. Kathmandu to Bhandara 2190m via Jiri.
Day 04. Departure from Bhandara to Sete 2985m 7am.
Day 05. Departure from Sete to June Bensi 2700m Via Lamjura 3530 7h.
Day 06. Starting in June Bensi to Thupten Chholing Gumba 3100m 3h.
Day 07. Rest day in Thupten Chholing Gumba.
Day 08. Leaving Thotangchhuli Gompam to Shengeephuk 3940 m 7h.
Day 09. Shengeephuk to Saharsbeni 3835m 6h.
Day 10. Leaving Saharsbeni / Visit Dudkunda return to Saharsbeni 4/5h.
Day 11. Departure from Saharsbeni to Ringmo 2720m 6h.
Day 12. Ringmo Chiwang Gompa.2400 m 5h.
Day 13. Chiwang Gompa rest and obesrvation.
Day 14. Leaving Chiwang Gompa 3400m to Pikey khop.
Day 15. Leaving Pikey khop to Pikey camp near the cheese dairy 3640m 7h.
Day 16. Early morning climb to Pikey peak and view of sunrise return to Jhapre.
Day 17. Jhapre to Dhap 2932m 7am.
Day 18. Dhap to Gunsa 2200m 5h.
Day 19. Leaving Gunsa to Rumjatar.
Day 20. Rumjatar to Kathmandu by plane.
Day 21. Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 22. Transfer to the airport.
